To start off, I am besotted with the floral, nutty scent it has. For some, it might be a bit too overwhelming but for me, it’s pure bliss. I am so fixated with the fragrance that I got myself a soap and a shower cream from the same range.
The body butter has a solid texture that spreads easily with fingers and applies like cream. Before now, I was applying it the wrong way by rubbing my fingers across it superficially. The correct way to apply the product is to scoop out some butter on your fingers and spread it over your skin. This not only makes my skin feel soft and smooth -- works especially great for arms and legs -- but also keeps it hydrated for many hours. It seems to work great for winter. I am not sure if I will be using it in summer as I fear it might feel too heavy for hot days.
By and large, this product delivers what it claims. I love it and my sisters seem to like it too. The only thing that might keep you from trying it is the hefty price though I think it’s quite justified for the amount you get. It comes in a 200 ml tub that will last you a whole season.
You might like it if…
- You expect it to moisturize your body for a good time.
- You are head over heels with scent.
- You are happy with the amount you get.
- You find the scent too strong for your taste.
- It makes your skin greasy in hot days.
- You think it’s pricey.
