Saturn Grey is my go-to eyeliner these days. I totally dig this shade! It has very fine shimmer in it but on the lid it appears as a soft matte grey which looks even more stunning when I put on two coats of mascara. It seems to be less harsh than black making it a great pick to wear during the day. I like the retractable and the self sharpening feature which allows me to do my eyes quickly in the morning when I’m running late. If you’re a beginner, I’d totally recommend starting off with an eyeliner pencil/stick instead of liquid liner if you want quick and easy application on the go.
The texture isn’t entirely creamy but it applies smoothly without tugging. Also, it is quite pigmented so I don’t have to keep on building the color. The pointed tip helps with precise line application but if you desire a thicker one, you could always build up to it. I have mildly oily lids so I wouldn't say it lasts for nine hours however it does stay put on me for good five hours. Compared to Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer, it isn’t water-proof which of course counts as its shortcoming when you compare both their prices however Exaggerate Eye Definer comes in very limited shades. In case you’re wondering if it deposits to the waterline, the answer would be no. Maybe the blackest shade would but I doubt it wouldn’t budge. If you have oily lids, I suggest priming up your lids or apply a concealer as way to help the eyeliner cling better.
To sum up, I do think it’s one of AVON must-haves. They come in lots of gorgeous wearable colors and finishes. I have yet to try the water-proof version of Glimmersticks.
