My thoughts
Let me begin by saying that I am truly astounded to have stumbled across this exceptionally sui generis scent – very exotic and oriental. In all honesty, this is not the kind of scent I would normally choose to wear but it grows on you once you start enjoying the mysterious and alluring blend of floral, spicy and fruity aromas. In my opinion, the scent symbolizes unparalleled sophistication.
At first, it might come out as being strong or heady with woody and fruity scents being very prominent – I can smell pear and apple I swear—but once applied to the skin, it tones down a bit and as you progress towards the heart (mid notes), you can easily pick out the floral and musky aroma and interestingly it gets vanillic and oriental in the end (base notes). Also, the scent lingers for quite some time which is excellent.
The moisturizer itself isn’t as remarkable as the scent; I would say it’s pretty decent. It’s not very hydrating and so I believe it wouldn’t protect your skin in harsh winter. For a city like Karachi where we have little winter – almost non-existent in my opinion; I mean come on, I wore my sweater for like two days – this product serves well. I also see myself using it frequently in summer. I like to apply this on my arms and hands mostly. I am glad I don’t have to put up with any greasy feeling on application; it absorbs fairly quickly. Overall, it’s good and I am going to purchase another one of this when I run out.
