This collection features eye shadows from Sigma’s best selling palettes. To be honest, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the palettes because some of the shades either felt chalky or had fall out issues. I definitely think Sigma has altered the formula on these; it’s much better now. I say that because I compared the individual Elysées with the one in Paris Palette and I could tell it was less powdery, not as crazy pigmented on first swipe but definitely buildable. Same goes for Notre Dame. Now as they’re less powdery, there seem to be less fall out but you still need to be careful with glimmer shades.
Despite the good color pay-off, they still lack that 'grip' which is good and bad at the same time. Good because they blend together easily. Bad because you can’t skip a primer if you want these to stick around longer or if you wish to create crisp lines. With a primer underneath, they refuse to budge all day. If nothing else, the color selection in this range is just outstanding! I love the soft creams, hazels, lilacs, beiges, duo chromes and of course the bold shades are right up my alley too. The packaging is a black round plastic case that doesn’t look cheap; it’s slim and also the lid locks firmly so no complaints.
Overall, I’m happy that Sigma took this step. I adore all the shades that I got except for Beware which doesn’t quite show up well on my skin tone. The idea is great but they seem a smidgen pricey for mono shadows. $11 for one eye shadow and $59 for a whole palette with eight eye shadows that also comes with essential brushes sounds more reasonable to me. Then again, the individual eye shadows give you an option to save up a couple of bucks if you want to pick up your favorites plus you get lots of amount too. If you think about it this way, the price will seem justified. Also, don't forget to use the monthly 10% discount code given on sidebar.
Sigma Individual Eye Shadow is priced $11 and can be purchased online form Sigma's website. They ship worldwide. If you live in Pakistan, you can also purchase these from Enhanced Beauty
-- the official Sigma wholesalers in Pakistan.
