Are you comfortable with a waterproof mascara?
Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof
The Millionizer brush has a multitude of bristles to separate lashes for a fanned-out lash effect. The elastomer applicator is ultra flexible with both long and short bristles to coat each lash evenly from root to tip. The excess wiper removes excess mascara. It leaves the brush coated with just the right amount of formula to achieve maxed up volume with no overload and no clumps.
Clump-free. Smudge-proof. Ophthalmologist and allergy tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Directions
Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. Removes easily with soap and water.
My thoughts
I don’t like waterproof mascaras as a rule since taking it off is no picnic. Though, I see why people dig this product. I wouldn’t say I am completely thrilled but it isn’t bad either.
First of all, I like the packaging; looks very high-end to me. The applicator is nice and helps in separating my lashes. I like the formula too; it’s thin yet it doesn’t take long to dry and it’s truly waterproof. It doesn’t smudge or flake throughout the day which is very admirable. My only issue is that it doesn’t deliver on its claim of making my lashes look thick and volumized. I can simply appreciate how nicely it lengthens and separates my lashes but it doesn’t really thicken them, it just defines them, that’s it. For long, fluttery and defined lashes, you need two coats of mascara at least. My advice – don’t over apply. Two coats are enough, believe me. On the third coat, it starts to bunch up my lashes so it’s not a very good idea. The thing I love most about it is its ability to hold the curl throughout the day. This feature alone is pleasing enough for someone who has stick-straight lashes. Since it's genuinely water-proof, it's a tough task to remove it. You need a good makeup remover to get rid of every bit of it.
Overall, it’s not bad – totally depends on what you expect from it. If you want a true waterproof mascara that doesn’t smudge or flake and holds the curl all day, you’d love this one. On the contrary, if you’re looking for something to thicken your lashes, you will be disappointed.
