Assalam-o-alaikum my gorgeous ladies out there! Wish you all a very happy and fun-filled Eid. *e-hugs*
This time around, I wanted to wear something HEAVY, over-the-top and traditional – more along the lines of wanting to feel like a princess this Eid hehe. This dress is a custom-made; got it made from Gulf shopping mall. There are many kaarigars that do amazing works so it was difficult to choose one for myself. Anyway, I picked a design, color and style of my choice and it was ready by the end of the month. Oh by the way it's called an Angrakha style dress. It cost me around PKR 14k ($140 to be exact). Normally, I don't splurge this much on a single dress for Eid – imagine my mum's reaction when she found out LOL – but I wanted this day to be special (with a big dent in my pocket of course but totally worth it).
