I have ignored my lip glosses for quite some time until recently something rekindled my love for them. I don’t know what it is but I am enjoying flaunting a glossy pout these days though I don’t wear it alone, I layer it over a lipstick.
Accessorize Diamond Sparkle is an utter sparkle-y lip gloss. If you are into shimmer, you’d love it. The good thing is that the shimmer bits are tiny; it is fine enough not to feel gritty on the lips but you might feel just a bit if you press your lips together however it’s nothing uncomfortable. The base color is pretty pigmented too as it shows up with just a single coat. I got Shade 5 Crush which is a gorgeous coral pink with golden shimmer and would really flatter fair to medium skin tones. The texture is somewhat thick and the formula is non-sticky. I like the whiff of coconut I get instantly when I put it on but thankfully it has no flavor. The gloss retains its glamor for up to an hour without eating or drinking which I think is an average wear time for a gloss while I am left with shimmer stuck to my lips for another hour. You can expect shimmer landing outside the lip line while wiping off and this might be bothersome.
All in all, anyone seeking a dazzling shiny pout should consider checking it out. The gloss offers good pigmentation, doesn’t feel sticky, has a good packaging and applicator and not to mention comes with a wallet-friendly price.
